SIT Conference 2012: “All Hands on Tech” — Have you seen the flyers around school?         Now in it’s 12th year across the state, the Students Involved with Technology (SIT) Conference will be held at Stevenson on Saturday, Feb. 18.  This conference is BY students and FOR students….students presenting to one another. This extraordinary event will expose students from grades 3 to 12 to a wide variety of technology experiences and opportunities. To register, visit the SIT website at http://sitconference.org. Leadership applications are due January 6, right before finals.  Any student interested in a leadership position where they would be asked to lead small groups of students, work 1 on 1 with students, and be a role model in physical education classes, should apply.  Accepted leaders would be working with students who have physical, cognitive, social and emotional disabilities or students who have injuries.

Hey skiers and snowboarders, the Ski and Snowboard Club is going to Cascade this Saturday, and next Saturday we will be heading to Granite Peak.  Money for the Cascade trip is due in the Prep office today.   If you would like to join the club, it is not too late.  Stop by the Prep office for more information.

Origami Club members:  Our 1st meeting of the New Year is today from 3:30-4:30.  As usual, we provide scrumptious snacks and drinks.

Tomorrow is Clothing Project Pride Day!!!  If you have taken a Clothing Construction class tomorrow is your chance to show off your projects!  Choose your favorite project or projects you have made and wear it to school.  Come to room 1424 before school to receive your reward for showing off!!!
